The Harris twins grew up in a family of reformers. Their parents are both well-known speakers and their older brother is a senior pastor of Covenant Life Church and author of the best-seller book I Kissed Dating Goodbye.
Alex and Brett started their website, TheRebelution.com, in 2006 and it has received over 14 million hits since then.
“The goal,” Alex Harris says in an interview with CBD (Christian Book Distributers), “…is not to be ‘above average,’ but to continually grow and move forward in the pursuit of holiness and excellence.”
Instead of just being exceptions to today’s culture (or trying to ignore it altogether), Alex and Brett believe in creating a “counter-culture…by networking, exhorting, and encouraging one another in the fight.”
Although Alex and Brett have recently begun college, they plan to continue to write, speak, and blog to promote their cause and encourage their peers.
